many of those are rotten, UA products not meet EU standards regarding allowed fertilizers and chems usage. Other reason is their products should be transfer directly to port - to send to for example Africa, but in fact majority stays in Poland and sells much cheaper than products produced in Poland (UA does not pay taxes on the border anymore) makes polish farmers not able to maintain their business anymore

And there was no "near total blockade" by the Polish protesters, at least not until perhaps now, as all humanitarian and military transports were never blocked, while all other trucks were let in at a rate of two per hour.
A total blockade might be implemented now as a response to the Ukrainian total blockade, and because many of the "humanitarian" transports turned out to be fraudulent (were transporting luxury items).
