Poland Wins Its Third Men's Volleyball World Championship
It is also the second consecutive men's world championship for Poland in that sport.
That took place back in September, but I guess we had a bit of a reporting delay on this forum.
In the final game played in Turin, Italy, Poland defeated a very formidable Brazil by a score of 3:0.

So Poland's best results in men's volleyball are as follows:
1st 2018 World Championship
3rd 2015 World Cup
1st 2014 World Championship (at home)
1st 2012 World League
2nd 2011 World Cup
3rd 2011 World League (at home)
2nd 2006 World Championship
1st 1976 Olympics
1st 1974 World Championship
2nd 1965 World Cup (at home)
And also at least six fourth place finishes.
In addition to that Polish women's volleyball national team had also some successes.
